Trainer: Detective Corporal Angela Weekes (Retired)
Cpl. Angela Weekes began her career with the Nampa Police Department in 1994.  She has a BA in Criminal Justice from Boise State University.  She has served the City of Nampa in several difference capacities including Patrol, School Resource Officer, DARE officer, and Child Abuse investigator.  She was most recently assigned as a Corporal in the Crimes against Person’s Unit in the investigation’s
division.  She retired in August of 2020.

Angela is a certified FLETC (Federal Law Enforcement Training Center) instructor in Domestic Violence.  She is certified by Idaho POST (Peace Officer’s Standards and Training) academy in the area of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault as well as for the Idaho Coalition on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.  She also has instructed at the International Family Justice Center Conference.  She also serves as faculty with the International Chiefs of Police Association.  She has worked with the Department of Justice on a Civil Rights Investigation in Louisville.  She was also selected as the trainer to work on the Gender Bias Training for the Chicago Police Department.
